Support available for CHC Residents
Calgary Housing Company provides support for residents through several different means:
- Tenant Liaisons
- Resource Centres
- Information about Resources
Your Tenant Liaison
Your Tenant Liaison is a member of CHC staff that works with residents in specific properties to provide residents with direct support, referrals to other supports, or information about other resources as appropriate.
If you do not know who your Tenant Liaison is, you have several options:
- Contact your Property Manager or Housing Administrator
- Log onto your Resident Portal Account and check your Housing Team, this will provide you with the name of your Tenant Liaison and an email address.
Community Resource Centres
Community Resource Centres are available at some Calgary Housing Company properties. These spaces are used to host programs and events for our residents, and sometimes for other members of the community as well.
To find out what is happening in a Community Resource Centre at your property, stop by when you see someone there, look for posters or flyers, or contact your Tenant Liaison by phone or email.

Other Resources
2-1-1 – information about housing and other health, social or human services including counselling, financial assistance, information on government supports and programs and more. Dial 2-1-1 on your phone.
Calgary Public Library – Offers a wide variety of free programs, resources, and supports for kids and adults, including internet and computer access, paper and digital resources, learning programs, and wellness desk. Click here to learn more.
The Way In – This program, operated by carya Calgary, is a one-stop shop to find resources and support for seniors – you can access them by calling 403-SENIORS or click here to visit carya to learn more.
Community Connect YYC – Provides rapid access counselling supports, domestic violence supports, addictions supports and more. Offered in multiple languages through multiple organizations – Click here to learn more.
